York Upside Down Design freelance interior store warehouse sale
A WELL KNOWN independent decoration and interior design company is holding a warehouse clearance sale.
Next weekend (September 18-19) Upside Down Design, which has been based at 27 Bootham in York for almost four years, will have another warehouse clearance at St Olave’s Church Hall near Marygate.
When the company was launched, it was a design space and showcase for the interior design company, Upside Down Design Interiors, which owner Carole Whitby has managed since September 2012, with a selection of household items products.
It has since evolved and they have expanded their product lines to accommodate their large customer base from York and far beyond.
The sale follows on from previous popular events and will include furniture, display pieces and seconds, cushions, throws and blankets, lighting fixtures, fabrics by the meter and many home accessories.
Carole said she had a very simple philosophy: “We don’t sell anything that we wouldn’t like to have in our own homes.”
She says the store has a selection of gifts, ranging from cushions, throws, candles, books, games and stationery to beauty and fashion accessories, not to mention stylish furniture and fabrics, which will be priced at a reduced price for this weekend event. -end.
She said all of the items were carefully selected by her and her team with an eclectic and contemporary mix of beautifully designed, on-trend items.
The market hall is just opposite the Marygate car park for anyone coming from further afield and the sale will be open from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday.
