Sweet Sparkman has hired 10 new employees since the start of the pandemic

Sweet Sparkman Architecture and Interiors has hired 10 new team members since March 2020, growing from 21 to 31 employees since the start of the pandemic.
Company executives attribute the growth to a variety of factors, including a scorching housing market and an expansion of the company’s range of services beyond architecture, with the addition of a branch of large-scale interior design in 2018.
Interior design services provide clients with a more turnkey experience. Additional positions beyond these include project designer and professional service roles.
With the industry and the country in the midst of a labor shortage, recruiting top talent has been a challenge for many architectural firms. But, according to Sweet Sparkman associate Michele Demperio, the culture and work caliber of the company have attracted new hires.
“We believe our office culture is to combine a fun, collaborative environment with a high level of design and a passion for helping clients combine form and function to their best possible outcome,” says Demperio. “Ultimately our goal is to hire the most experienced and talented people who are passionate about design and use them to make people’s lives easier and more beautiful. “
Sweet Sparkman representatives plan to continue their hiring wave until the end of the year, with a push to hire more project managers and architects in the months to come.
