Menzies facilitates Cross-Architecture Agreement – Accountancy Today

Menzies oversaw the acquisition of architecture firm Weston Williamson + Partners from consulting, engineering and operations firm Egis.

Weston Williamson + Partners was assisted in the transaction by three advisors. Menzies LLP and BCMS provided corporate finance advice while DMH Stallard provided legal advice.

According to Menzies, Weston Williamson + Partners has studios in Manchester, London, Sydney and Melbourne, with “specific expertise” in large-scale infrastructure, master planning and city-shaping projects.

Menzies also said that Egis is an international player working in the consulting, engineering and operations sectors, with operations in 120 countries around the world.

By investing in Weston Williamson + Partners’, the partnership opens up new international opportunities for the firm, expands the firm’s capacity and design expertise and strengthens Egis’ global presence in the infrastructure and design.

The company’s brand, name and management have been brought together under the Egis umbrella. The agreement will allow Weston Williamson + Partners to expand its global reach and embark on high profile projects in new markets.

The firm added that the new Weston Williamson + Partners board will be led by founding partners Chris Williamson and Rob Naybour as chairman and CEO respectively, alongside Weston Williamson + Partners managing partner Philip Breese. , and four senior members of the Egis Board of Directors.
