An interior designer named Tatum Culhane has shared her easy trick to make your home smell great and it only requires one cooking ingredient.
In a video, Culhane first preheated her oven to 300 degrees Fahrenheit.
Next, she grabbed an ovenproof bowl and poured in about two capfuls of vanilla extract.
Finally, she simply placed the bowl of vanilla extract in the oven for 20 minutes, which left her home smelling delicious.

Several people in the comments section were quite impressed with Culhane’s genius trick.
One wrote: “Oh wow!! I’m trying this immediately.”
Another added, “Great idea! Definitely going to try this.”
Someone else joked, “Such a great idea!”
Rather than using the oven, one person suggested, “You can literally put it in a little pot and simmer it on low heat… it’s been years.”
Another also added: ‘Sprinkle some cinnamon on it too’, to which Culhane replied: ‘That’s such a great idea!’
Meanwhile, a cleaning expert has shared three ways to make your home smell amazing with common ingredients you probably already have.
Pro-named Chantel Mila suggested boiling lemons, rosemary, and vanilla extract on the stovetop to make your home smell like Williams-Sonoma.

Plus, another interior design expert revealed her two-minute flower centerpiece that will have your home smelling amazing on the cheap.
Simply pile a vase with a ton of sliced lemons and fill it with water and flowers for a stunning citrus centerpiece.
